Tama’a Maitai Restaurant
The Tama’a Maitai is situated by the edge of the lagoon at Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora, close to the beach. Tama’a Maitai, which translates to “good appetite,” is open daily from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm.
The restaurant was constructed in the Polynesian fashion utilizing native materials including aito wood (ironwood), a woven pandanus roof, and an open kitchen in the form of a Fare Potee which is a Polynesian chief’s house or gathering place.
There are light meals, salads, pizzas, mouthwatering hamburgers, freshly caught fish, and other specialties available for dinner, all in a pleasant and casual setting.
Le Mitai Bora Bora Hotel has the Tama Mitai Restaurant. It provides a fantastic view of the various nearby natural features and directly overlooks the blue lake. To make sure that all tastes are catered to, it features a broad and varied menu. Salads, Italian-style pizza, fish, shellfish, and meat meals are all included.
Fresh, grilled, and some vegetarian alternatives are also available. Still hungry and looking for a restaurant in Bora Bora, see also the Vini Vini Restaurant at La Moana Resort or dive into Bora Bora’s nightlife.
