Rudy’s Restaurant

This restaurant is known for serving the best French food with real island flavors. They are a local family that has been in business for more than 40 years. “Rudy’s Fine Steak & Seafood” is the latest restaurant made by Syd Pollock, who was born in Tahiti and has opened a number of restaurants on the islands of Moorea and Tahiti.

This one is called “Rudy” after his oldest son, who is in charge of the kitchen here. You’ll eat a variety of tasty meats and some of the best fish in the area.

People who know Moorea have known Syd Pollock for 40 years. In 1968, he opened the “Maui Beach” restaurant and hotel on the sister island. In 1973, he also opened “Les Tipaniers,” which is one of the oldest hotels on the island. After that, he opened “Coconut House” and “La Cantina” on the beautiful island of Moorea.

He was ready to pass the baton to his children, who had spent a lot of time with him as a good teacher and had learned from him. “Rudy’s” is without a doubt the thing he is most proud of having made.

FINE STEAKS
You can try tender New Zealand premium steaks and other tasty meats. Try the prime rib or the filet mignon with morels, for example.

FRESH LOCAL SEAFOOD
Everyone seems to know about our Parrot Fish…
You can choose from a variety of delicious seafood dishes, such as Grilled and Broiled Lobster Flamed Cognac or Raw Tuna Tartare.

GOURMET DESSERTS
Try the Profiteroles or the Chocolate Moelleux, for example.
A delicious, French-style gourmet experience.
